EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS HAVE JUST BEGUN!

We have just commenced the second cycle or educational workshops conducted to the extent of the Project. During the workshops the children youth, students, teachers and local inhabitants are going to get to know the advantages and disadvantages of pasturing, the results of works concerning active nature conservation and last but not least the protected plants of the Beskidy mountains.

We strive towards putting the theoretical knowledge acquired during the classroom workshops taking places in the Branch Office of the ZPKWŚ into practice during the field classes. At times it works out, at times it needs some improvement, after all the sheep not always graze exactly where we go, at times the shepherd’s dogs scare us away and prevent us from taking pictures in the background of the gentle sheep and the rainy clouds successfully deter us from hiking and collecting wild flowers, but we hope for the best – June, so far, encourages us to participate in the workshops.

As for now, since the beginning of the Project we conducted 14 such meetings, which have been participated by 420 people!

6 out of the 10 planned meetings were organized this year, but the booking list is still open, so YOU ARE KINDLY INVITED to participate in the workshops.
