On 7th of December 2017 at the Office of the Landscape Parks Compound of the Silesian Voivodeship in Będzin the last meeting of the Steering Committee was held within the framework of the Project.

Na At the meeting, apart from the Steering Committee members representing local offices and institutions, the representative officers of the company that performs the environmental monitoring within the framework of the Life+ Beskidy Project – Ośrodek Badań i Kontroli Środowiska [Environmental Control and Study Centre] - were also present. The staff members of the Centre presented the environmental monitoring outcome   as the deliverable achieved in the course of duration of the Project in the period from 2014 until 2017. The presented outcome concerned both flora and fauna and accounted for the summery of the effects of measures undertaken within the framework of the Project. Furthermore, the Centre staff members presented the issues related to additional measures of the nature monitoring performed this year – nature stock taking in 4th and 5th pasturage compound, mapping of nature habitats protected within the framework of the Project and provision of optimal combination of meadow plant seeds and sowing procedures, which intensifies turfing after removal of Alpine sorrel.

In the course of that meeting the Project implementing people summarised the actions that had been carried out within the framework of the Project since the Project implementation commencement in 2013. The information on positive opinion of the European Commission regarding extension of the Project implementation period for another consecutive year in a roll - until the end of 2018 was also communicated. The measures to be carried out in the next coming were also announced.
