Anyone interested in gaining further information about the activities implemented within the Project Life12 NAT/PL/000081, entitled: ‘Conservation of Non-forest Habitats in the Area of the Landscape Parks in the Beskid Mountains’ is hereby kindly invited to take cognizance of the published Pasturage Good Practice Guide which in an easily-accessible way describes the notions of the active environmental protection, the specificity of the non-forest habitats of the Beskid Mountains and covers such subjects as pasturage culture and tradition.

The Guide is divided into four parts which meticulously elaborate upon the following subjects: the objectives and the profile of the Project Life+ Beskidy, the features of the natural environment of the Silesian Beskid Mountains and the Żywiecki Beskid Mountains, pasteurizing in the Beskids as well as the impact of the implementation upon the state of the wildlife habitats, sustaining pasture culture, and the attractiveness of the region as well as the tourist traffic.
